Why is my gas hob not igniting?
Your gas hob might not ignite properly if spilled food or dirt is clogging the ignition nozzles. Ignition may also fail if the nozzles, burner caps or ports are wet after cleaning. Dry the hob and the burner tops thoroughly after cleaning them.
Why is my Smeg gas cooktop igniter not clicking?
No Spark: Turn off the gas and test the ignition button on your cooker. If there is no clicking sound and you cannot see any sparks, then your igniter will need to be replaced.
How do you adjust the flame on a Smeg gas hob?
To light the flame, press the knob and at the same time turn it anti-clockwise to the minimum flame symbol . To adjust the flame, turn the knob to the zone between the maximum and the minimum settings. To turn off the burner, turn the knob back to the O position.
